COMPANY PROFILE

BACKGROUND
Foresight International, S.A (FISA) was founded in Panama City, Panama in 2000 as a distributor and representative of eyewear companies in Panama and the rest of Central America. In January 2004, FISA expanded operations to sourcing Ophthalmic equipment and supplies for our customers due to a demand we saw from our existing customers, and essentially produced the first ONE-STOP SHOPPING for Ophthalmic, Optical and Laboratory equipment and supplies in this region. This operation has quickly grown to sourcing for our customers worldwide.

MISSION STATEMENT
Our mission is to help customers find whatever new or used Ophthalmic Equipment or Supplies they are looking for without having to contact numerous sources at no additional cost to them.

OUR VISION
FISA strives to provide this service to buyers through a network of manufacturers and suppliers that we work with within the US and worldwide, and continually adds new companies to our portfolio of suppliers based on demand and market needs. In many cases, our prices may be lower than other companies as our low overhead and drop-shipment policies allow us to be more competitive than other companies. We also do not advertise who our suppliers are- our goal is not to promote any specific companies’ products, but to source what our customers are looking for. If a customer requires a recommendation however, we will gladly provide that. On a monthly basis, we do send out an e-mail promotion to those on our mailing list to let our customers be aware of how expansive our sourcing capabilities actually are.

ABOUT OUR FOUNDER
Founder and Optometrist Dr. Judy Pottinger (formerly Callaghan) who studied Optometry at Pennsylvania College of Optometry in the USA and has been involved in Eyewear Sales and Marketing for the last 5 years saw a demand to expand the company's realm of operations to providing a one-stop Optical/Ophthalmic Sourcing center which is not tied to one specific supplier or manufacturer and has your best interest in mind. The demand has now expanded this operation to sourcing for our clients worldwide.
